In nearby Yarmouth, visitors can browse museums which depict a local seafaring history, shop local galleries and emporiums, sample fresh seafood in one of many restaurants, or simply stroll along the waterfront. Cape Forchu Lighthouse, located at Yarmouth Bar, is a popular attraction which is open seasonally to the public.

 
 

We are close to activities such as whale-watching, deep sea fishing, movie and dinner theatres. Drive 80 miles northeast, and you will stumble upon Annapolis Royal, the oldest surviving settlement in North America. Along Highway 1, you will find the largest wooden structure in North America, and closer to Churchill Mansion, you will see Canada's smallest drawbridge in the fishing community of Sanford. In nearby Clare, experience the French culture, a community very much alive with stories of both past and present.

With the arrival of spring, Home and Garden shows abound. Outdoor markets, along with museums, seasonal shops and Parks, all open their doors.
